CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation and Reschedule Policy

Please read this policy carefully. You are not required to agree to this policy; however, we will be unable to provide our services without your agreement.  By booking any appointment with our service, you acknowledge and accept this policy in full.

1. Why do we have a cancellation policy?

  • It is difficult to fill a session with short notice.

  • Your therapist/coach commits time to prepare for your session in advance.

  • It ensures fairness to other clients who may have taken the appointment if given adequate notice.

2. Notice period required to avoid cancellation fees

For all appointments, we require at least three (3) full business days’ notice to cancel or reschedule without incurring a fee.

 

3. What is a “business day”?

A business day is any weekday (Monday to Friday) excluding public holidays and office closures. Business hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm AEST.

Example: Notice given on Thursday at 2:00pm for a 2:00pm appointment the following Tuesday counts as three business days (assuming no public holidays in between).

 

4. Cancellation Fees

  • Within 72 hours of the appointment: 50% of the full session fee is payable. A portion of this may be credited toward your next session if rebooked.

  • Within 24 hours of the appointment or non-attendance: 100% of the full session fee is payable.

These fees are applied to reflect the loss of booked time and preparation.

 

5. Are there any exceptions?

A cancellation fee may be waived if:

  • Your therapist/coach is able to offer a suitable alternative time within the same calendar week, and

  • You reschedule and attend that alternative appointment.

 

6. Unpaid Fees

If a cancellation fee is charged under this policy and remains unpaid, we may pause or discontinue services until the balance is settled. In some cases, we may also take reasonable steps to recover outstanding fees, including charging for any associated administrative costs.

 

7. Your Commitment

Therapy and coaching require commitment from both parties. Attending scheduled sessions supports the effectiveness of the process. We ask for your cooperation and understanding in upholding this policy.

We aim for this to be a fair and transparent process and thank you for working with us respectfully.
